Sirsa Qursha is a Child Development Specialist and Parent Educator with over 18 years of experience working directly with children and families. Her expertise lies in child protection, child development, parenting education, and child-centered programming. Over the past decade, she has provided consultations through her private practice, focusing on early childhood development, parenting support, and the design and review of family-centered programmes and services. In addition to her consultation work, Sirsa offers therapeutic support to families, working directly with children and caregivers using play-based and mindfulness-informed approaches, including Mindfulness-Based Family Play Therapy.

Sirsa has extensive experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of child- and family-focused programmes, with a particular emphasis on capacity strengthening and qualitative research. She works closely with national and international organizations on issues related to child wellbeing, service quality, and workforce development within child protection and social service systems. Sirsa holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Studies and a Master’s degree in Parent Education from the University of Connecticut, and is certified in Kazdin Parent Management Training through the Yale Parenting Center, Mindfulness-Based Family Play Therapy and IFS (level 1). She is based in Jordan.
