Dr Lina Digolo is a paediatrician and clinical epidemiologist with over 18 years of experience working at the intersection of health system strengthening, research, policy development, and service delivery, with a specialised focus on preventing violence against women and children through parenting, school based, and system level interventions. She supports governments, UN agencies, civil society organisations, and donors to translate research evidence and practice-based knowledge into actionable policies, national frameworks, programmes, and implementation guidance across the Global South, with a strong emphasis on prevention and evidence informed programming.

Dr Digolo brings extensive expertise in child protection policy analysis and in the design and evaluation of violence prevention and response programmes, including parenting and education programmes, child protection case management systems, and workforce strengthening. She has a distinct niche in research uptake, working closely with policymakers and implementing partners to bridge research, practice, and policy, and to embed learning and evidence into system reform and programme design. She has led and supported capacity strengthening initiatives, including the development of facilitated and online learning programmes, national manuals, training curricula, and implementation resources. She holds a Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and a Master of Science in Epidemiology and is based in Kenya.
