Cristian Maneiro is a Monitoring and Evaluation specialist with more than fifteen years of experience supporting United Nations agencies—including UNICEF, UNWOMEN, UNFPA, and WFP—and international non-governmental organizations such as SOS Children’s Villages. His work focuses on child protection systems, social protection, and family strengthening, with experience at both country and global levels.
Cristian has contributed to a wide range of evaluations, research studies, and learning initiatives, with strong expertise in mixed-methods approaches. With Maestral International, he has served as an M&E specialist on regional and global assignments, including the Framework and Evaluation of the Child Protection Workforce in Latin America and the Caribbean for UNICEF LACRO and the Evaluation of the Implementation and Effectiveness of Safeguarding Interventions for Porticus. Cristian holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the Federal University of Paraná (Brazil), with postgraduate specialization in Public Policy and Evaluation from CLEAR LAC (Mexico) and is based in Uruguay.
