In-Service Training for lecturers in Universities and Colleges on the Revised and Harmonized Curricula for Social Work

Maestral worked with the Ministry of Social Welfare and various Universities to develop materials for in-service training of academics/lecturers who will be responsible for teaching and delivering the standardized BSW curriculum and student field placement manual, as well as provided list of online resources and videos. With feedback from the training, the BSW curriculum was updated. The certificate and Diploma curriculums were also updated. A training and workshop were also organized for NGO partners to a) build capacity on SW supervision; b) be able to receive SW students on field placement; and c) reach an agreement between the MSW, Universities, and NGO to support field placement of SW student as part of the implementation of the standardized BSW curriculum.
