Peta-Gaye Bookall, is an international Child Protection practitioner, with over 12 years’ experience and expertise in Child Protection (CP) System Strengthening, Social Services Workforce Strengthening, CP Social Work, CP training & capacity building, CP in Emergencies & child-focused Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). She has extensive coaching, mentoring & capacity building experiences inclusive of independently developing, delivering & contextualizing CP training packages for frontline workers (Pakistan, Nigeria, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Solomon Islands). She provided technical leadership for the integration of CP/MHPSS/child-friendly inputs across allied sectors (Education, Health, WASH, GBV), regional & national Clusters/sub-clusters & UN agencies (UNICEF, UNFPA, UNWOMEN, WHO) reaching populations in 21 countries in the Pacific. Ms. Bookall holds a Master’s in Development Studies from The Graduate Institute (IHEID), Geneva & a Master of Science in Social Work, from Columbia University, NYC.
