Operations Officer
Nicole joined Maestral in 2014 as the External Relations Officer. As the organization grew and onboarded new staff, she transitioned into the role of Operations Officer. She is responsible for general oversight of Maestral’s headquarter operations and staff. More specifically, her responsibilities include management of the organization’s policies, human resource functions, and budget in liaison with the accounting firm. Nicole oversees the management and administration of Maestral’s USAID portfolio and provides support on other projects as needed.
Nicole graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management. Prior to joining Maestral, Nicole worked as an International Program Assistant with the American Refugee Committee.
