John Glover

John Glover is the Head of Purdue Applied Research Institute’s (PARI) Technology and Innovation Lab and Executive Director of the Global Development and Innovation Division. Purdue Applied Research Institute is a wholly owned subsidiary of Purdue University established in 2021 to provide an innovative way for engaging a higher education institution. In his role leading this start-up, Mr. Glover is responsible for developing a  strategy to create an Agile based organization, builds the team and essential business processes as well as the business relationships to enable Purdue faculty, students, and staff to contribute to global development. With a focus on creating new strategic private-public-academic partnerships, Mr. Glover connects Purdue faculty, students, and staff with a broad array of industry, federal agencies, entrepreneurs, and academic collaborators. Previously, Mr. Glover’s distinguished career includes leadership positions as Senior Vice President of Programs and Policy at Plan International USA, Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, Vice President at Abt Associates, and Project Director at IBM Business Consulting Services among other roles with global management consulting firms. He holds an MALD from Tuft University Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, MA from Northwestern University, and BA from Duke University.
