Senior Manager, Strategy and Programs
Joanna has been with Maestral International since 2017 and is currently the Senior Manager for Strategy and Programs. Her work focuses on supporting consultants across Maestral’s global portfolio of projects, developing internal policies, contributing to new business efforts, and fostering collaboration across Maestral’s Practice Areas and global team. She supports internal systems, knowledge management, contributes to strategy development, Board coordination, and policy processes. Joanna also oversees Maestral’s communications, including the website, newsletter, and social media, and helps facilitate internal team learning.
Before joining Maestral, Joanna held roles in grants and program management at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and the American Library Association, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kyrgyzstan. She holds a Master of Science in Justice, Law and Society from American University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
