Cristian is a Monitoring and Evaluation specialist with more than ten years of experience as consultant for United Nations Agencies (UNICEF, UNFPA, WFP) and Non-Governmental Organizations (SOS Children’s Villages) in child protection systems, social protection, and family strengthening. He has international experience in Latin American countries as well as at global level. With Maestral International he participated as an M&E specialist in the project Framework and evaluation of the child protection workforce: Latin America and the Caribbean for the UNICEF LACRO Regional Office and the Evaluation of the implementation and effectiveness of safeguarding interventions for partners of Porticus. Currently he is involved with research projects for UNICEF offices in Dominican Republic and Panamá.
Cristian holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Universidad Federal de Parana (Brazil) as well as specializations in Public Policy and Evaluation from CLEAR LAC (México) and Population Studies from UdelaR (Uruguay).
Native Spanish speaker, he is fluent in English and Portuguese and has basic knowledge of French.
