Sirsa Qursha is a Child Development Specialist and Parent Educator based in Amman, Jordan, with over 17 years of experience working directly with children and families. Her expertise lies in child protection, child development, parenting education, and child-centered programming. Over the past decade, she has provided consultations through her private practice, focusing on early childhood development, parenting support, and the design and review of family-centered programs and services. In addition to her consultation work, Sirsa offers therapeutic support to families, working directly with children and caregivers using play-based and mindfulness-informed approaches, including Mindfulness-Based Family Play Therapy.
Sirsa has extensive experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of child and family-focused programs, with a particular emphasis on capacity building and qualitative research. She holds a BSc in Child Development and Family Studies and an MA in Parent Education from the University of Connecticut. She is also certified in Kazdin Parent Management Training from the Yale Parenting Center at Yale University. Sirsa works closely with national and international organizations on issues related to child well-being, service quality, and workforce development in the child protection and social service sectors.
