Here’s what’s happening around the world in the area of child welfare and protection.
The Five-year National Plan of Action to End Violence Against Women and Children was developed by consolidating eight different action plans addressing violence against women and children to create a single comprehensive, National Plan of Action to eradicate violence against women and children in Tanzania. Nine Ministers had the opportunity to deliver their statement/commitment to the implementation of the plan. More than 500 stakeholders from Government, Community Service Organizations, NGOs and Development Partners also participated. More than 100 Children participated and through songs they expressed their concern on issues related to their rights and welfare.
